Former Employee - Sales Representative says

"Lack of support from the Mgmt team - many ideas thrown against wall expecting results"

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"- brutal politics - high turnover - absent CEO - company is run by ex-lawyer cost cutter - no clear organizational structure - zero company-wide focus on customers I believe there was a time in the past that this company had a big, bright future. Unfortunately, after years of in-fighting and loss of focus, it'll be a steep climb. Company culture is worse than it ever has been and no one really trusts one another. It's a depressing environment for anyone and I feel for those who joined the company when it seemed different."

100 Ton Boat Captain (Current Employee) says

"Since the down turn in the industry as with all companies out here they have cut back including pay cuts, loss of 401k match, raises, but they have tried to keep everyone working.Work most of the time.Dont get sick and dont miss a crew change. Keep Johnny Drama at home"

Cleaner (Former Employee) says

"My typical day in Glo Services was visit to client locations to perform various cleaning activities like cleaning of kitchens, offices and mopping of floors in the customer's site. Learn specific cleaning techniques of the company and also the health and safety procedures of the company. Had a good and cordial relationship with the management and co-workers. The hardest part of the job was floor mopping the most enjoyable part was cleaning of Tables and office equipment."

"I completed a form online that said I had booked a pamper party but apparently this was just an enquiry form. There are two choices - Book Now or Enquiry Form. Book Now is also an enquiry form and you have to wait 48 hours for them to confirm but there is no mention of this when it says "Thank you for your booking" - also if you order less than 48 hours, there is a surcharge to pay and you have to pay for your own goody bags to be delivered in this case. The girl I spoke to was very rude and put me off booking with them entirely as there was no guarantee the oarty was actually booked or not!!"

Rebecca Harley says

"We booked a party of 12, paid up front...our beauty therapists didn't turn up. We phoned our beauty therapist who never picked up. Phoned head office who said "she's obviously not coming" - awful service. Following Glo's response: 1. The treatments were fine after the therapists turned up over an hour late. However, we then had to deal with their bad attitudes. Their parting words were 'try not to let things get to you over the rest of the weekend' - kind words after an awful evening, most of which was spent on the phone trying to resolve this mess. 2. The therapists stopped after 4 treatments to say 'If you're going to make a complaint to Glo, we're not going to continue as we wont get paid' - this was massively unprofessional, we had already paid in advance for 12 treatments and Glo's pay policies are not for clients to get involved. The idea was that the evening was meant to be relaxing - it was far from that. 3. Glo had no idea who the therapists were who visited us, which wasn't very reassuring. 4. Glo asked for me to remove my review - again unprofessional and not what review sites are for."

David says

"My massage was cut short. The sequence of the massage was incomplete, my thighs, stomach, chest and front of arms were missed out. I was left on the table after the massage whilst the clinician talked to my wife downstairs. Very unusually, I was not offered a drink of water afterwards. I have had hundreds of massages, this felt like a massage from someone with little or no training. Touch was periodically broken, the oils used were not named or explained and she lacked confidence."

Amy Gibson says

"Very disappointed with glo pamper! Booked a pamper party for my 9 year old. Very little pampering, more get the job done quick! Was with us at best for 11/2 hours. I could have done the job myself and saved a heap of money. A lot of money for very little!!" is a non-profit organization and communications forum for social activism.
